The Kenya Magistrates and Judges Association (KMJA) is a professional body dedicated to serving its members and the people of Kenya with pride, dignity, and diligence. Established in 1972 as the Kenya Magistrates Association (KMA), it has evolved into a non-profit organization primarily composed of serving Judicial Officers. Our core purpose is to advance the welfare and work interests of our members, protect and promote the Rule of Law, and diligently safeguard the principles of judicial independence. As a key stakeholder in the transformation of the Judiciary, we are committed to ensuring equitable access to, and efficient and expeditious delivery of justice for all Kenyans, as envisioned by Article 159 of the Constitution.
